Because you can get in and out they have Hardware in nice people run it
They have the best meat in the area and they almost always have the part you're looking for in the hardware section.
Have been going to The Gowen General Store for years and have a lot of good memories. As a previous reviewer said this place really does have that old general store feel and even has a hardware section that you'd never find in most gas stations these days.
